Tactical Meditations - Art & Tech Week Skåne 2016

Tactical Meditations is a three hours long (13:00 - 16:00) performance taking place in a room with an open door. As a visitor to the performance, you can come and leave as you wish. You are welcome to join suggested meditations, which might be tasks of listening, moving, sensing or talking with others and alone. If you prefer, you are equally invited to do nothing in particular, eyes closed or open.

We bring our cellphones, laptops, headphones, lenses and digital networks, imagining ourselves as cyborgs in need of tactical meditations. We withdraw in order to reappear. We touch and find ways to travel through territories of conflicting interest.

Bio of who’s behind it: Nyxxx is an artist collective producing performance art where the audience experiences the works from within. During the past six years, Nyxxx have done pieces, workshops and practice based research in collaborations in a wide range of contexts.Nyxxx consists of a sound designer, a light designer, a dramaturg, a director, a game designer and a visual artist. These are Elize Arvefjord, Kerstin Weimers, Tova Gerge, Ebba Petrén, Gabriel Widing and Albin Werle. ___________________________________________________

This event is a part of Art Tech Skåne 2016, which will also feature inspiring lectures within this theme. Organisations behind the whole arrangement are Minc Malmö( Malmö ), The Creative Plot (Lund), Lunds konsthall( Lund ) and THINK Open Space by Mindpark ( Helsingborg ).
